Job description

Stryker is hiring a Staff Clinical Field Services for our Neurovascular division that is located in Fremont, CA. This person can sit remotely anywhere in the US but will travel extensively to provide foundational clinical support for neurovascular procedures, including device accountability, study patient coordination, and day-of-procedure protocol execution.

Workplace Flexibility: This is a remote position that is ideally based in Mountain or Pacific time zones. The role requires extensive travel (approximately 50–75%) to hospitals across the U.S., primarily on the West Coast, to provide in-person case support.

What you will do

  • Execute quarterly objectives for Clinical Field Operations and collaborate with study teams to define and implement clinical protocols.

  • Provide expert product knowledge and case support to physicians and medical staff, ensuring education continuity and technical guidance for optimal patient outcomes.

  • Deliver training on device handling, utilization techniques, and troubleshooting during clinical investigations; support protocol execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Offer remote or on-site technical support before, during, and after procedures, including case planning, device selection, and documentation compliance.

  • Gather investigator feedback on device performance and share insights with core teams; contribute to development and updates of training and educational materials.

  • Support clinical activities at tradeshows, advisory boards, and other events; evaluate site needs and provide timely feedback to study teams.

  • Complete clinical reports and documentation promptly; report device performance issues or complaints immediately.

  • Utilize communication technology (e.g., SkillAssist) and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and development.

What you need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare, clinical research, medical device product development, sales, or marketing; neurovascular experience is a plus.

  • Proven ability to apply medical, surgical, and interventional concepts and terminology effectively.

  • Possesses a strong commitment to quality and compliance, consistently ensuring adherence to clinical and regulatory standards, including training requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage clinical personnel and physicians, lead presentations, and effectively navigate a matrixed organization of key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Hands-on experience in surgical or catheterization lab environments.

  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).

$87,600.00 to $186,700.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
