Job description
We are seeking a driven and energetic Clinical Consultant to join our Trauma team at Stryker in Waikato, New Zealand. We would also consider someone who is Auckland based, and willing to travel to Waikato 2 days per week. If you're passionate about patient care and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, this is the role for you.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Our talented Clinical Consultants play a vital role in the moments that matter most – the seconds, minutes and hours in which patients lives are changed forever by the skills and knowledge of care givers. This is a fast-paced role working in a theatre environment.
Our Clinical Consultants:
Provide technical and clinical specialist expertise to internal and external customers
Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products
Conduct in-service training and support our Territory Managers
Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related problems and/or issues related to a customer’s application of a product.
Interact with various internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product development) concerning products and product application.
Maintain product/instrumentation knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other available means.
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in the healthcare, science or engineering
Understanding of the operating theatre environment highly regarded
Strong communication skills
A passion for a successful patient outcomes
