Job description

We are now seeking a passionate, driven and energetic Clinical Consultant to join our Sports Medicine team in New Zealand in a 12 month fixed term, full time capacity.

This role will look after Auckland and surrounding areas, with some travel to the South Island.

Our Clinical Consultants:

  • Provide technical and clinical specialist expertise to internal and external customers

  • Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products

  • ​Conduct in-service training and support our Territory Managers

  • Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related problems and/or issues related to a customer’s application of a product. 

  • Interact with various internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product development) concerning products and product application. 

  • Maintain product/instrumentation knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other available means.

Key skills:

  • Current qualifications within allied health - physios, nurses, osteos are all encouraged to apply

  • Understanding of the hospital environment and experience working within a clinical setting

  • Demonstrated problem solving, collaborative teamwork skills, including the ability to drive clear verbal messages regarding technical subjects

  • Keen learner and strong team player with a positive attitude

  • Able to work autonomously and calmly under pressure

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for a successful patient outcome every time will ensure your success in this role.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in either a clinical environment, sales or within the medical space.

  • A passion for successful patient outcomes 

  • Proficient in comprehending technical information and articulating complex ideas clearly 

  • Proven track record of building robust and trustworthy relationships with internal stakeholders and customers 

  • Highly adaptable to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges effectively and find creative solutions
