Job description
As the Associate R&D Lab Manager, you will be responsible for the people and performance of the Neurovascular lab technical leads and technicians.

You will need to live within commuting distance of our Fremont, California office. As this is an Associate Lab Manager role you will need to be in the office 5 days a week.
What you will do:
Attract, develop, retain, and engage top talent, driving growth and high-quality results within the team.
Proactively address technical, business, and personnel challenges to drive positive outcomes.
Support business unit projects, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and ensuring goals are met.
Mentor and support cross-functional teams, influencing technical expertise and fostering key relationships to achieve business objectives.
Serve as a technical resource, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports and project teams.
Facilitate lab efficiency improvements and technology enhancements.
Ensure regulatory compliance and lead efforts to adhere to procedures, design controls, and quality systems.
Utilize R&D Lab Resource Planning, including capacity planning and technician work order administration collaborating across multiple locations to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
Support lab strategies including development and implementation of relevant Technician cross training.
What you need:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering or related technical discipline in a highly regulated industry including medical device or pharmaceuticals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the design or manufacturing of stents and catheters
2 years of direct leadership or indirect leadership experience
Experience developing lab work instructions for process development
$100,500.00 - $215,300.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
