Job description
The Associate Manager, Downstream Marketing - Sports Medicine/Foot and Ankle, will be responsible for the implementation and execution of key marketing initiatives as outlined by strategic planning and business imperatives for our F&A portfolio. In addition to our core portfolio, this individual will provide continued support for the Artelon product portfolio since adding it to our portfolio in 2024. This individual will support our salesforce and customers in launching and commercializing new products to the portfolio and sustaining and growing Stryker’s presence in the market with our current portfolio.
This role is based in our Denver, CO, office. Regular weekly presence in the office is required, and some flexibility for hybrid work can be arranged. This role requires 30% travel within the United States and Canada.
What you will do:
Focus on managing strategic marketing initiatives and business integration for the Foot and Ankle portfolio and some related biologic products
.Analyzes competitive position of company products and recommends or supervises surgical technique, product design, quality changes, inventory allocation, and price structures
Creates commercialization plans for newly launched products and coordinates launches and sustaining activity
Analyzes and leads the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results
Participate in tradeshows and other key customer events, including training, labs, and education
Participate in content creation for collateral, techniques, and customer-facing tools
Participate in or advise on label, package, and product design from a sales promotional standpoint
Prepare or cooperate in the preparation of sales forecasts and in the development of projected selling expense budgets
Will participate in the marketing training of others
Manages and facilitates functional input in the new product development process for assigned products
May coach and develop marketing personnel
Will participate in the marketing training of others
May direct the activities of 1 or more subordinate marketing employees, aligning work to critical business results and initiatives.
May evaluate the performance of 1 or more subordinates based on pre-established performance parameters.
Originates new uses and markets for products and recommends distribution channels for them
Required
Bachelor’s degree
6+ years of work experience
Preferred
Experience working with medical devices or marketing/sales experience
Experience with Foot and Ankle
Experience working with Sports Medicine products
Experience in public speaking
Experience in managing multiple projects
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
$98,800 - 210,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
