What you will do:

• Own the accounting and reporting processes for a set of entities, ensuring accurate financial data in line with Stryker and US GAAP standards

• Lead and support month-end and year-end close, ensuring timely completion and high-quality financial reporting

• Coordinate and manage audit activities (internal and external), ensuring compliance and prompt resolution of audit findings

• Ensure integrity of balance sheet accounts, reviewing reconciliations and driving corrective actions when needed

• Act as a key point of escalation for accounting issues and provide resolution in collaboration with business partners

• Drive continuous improvement, including implementation of standardization and simplification initiatives

• Lead and develop a team, setting goals, mentoring staff, and ensuring ongoing professional development

• Support and coordination of Financial Statement preparation

What you need:

Required:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting position

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory/management role in a multinational environment

• Fluency in English (written and verbal)

• Proven ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively across functions

• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred:

• Familiarity with US GAAP

• Understanding of internal controls, including SOX compliance

• Experience in working with Oracle, Hyperion

• Professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
