Job description

Position summary:

The role is responsible for working in various areas within the software development life cycle to develop and deliver written requirements, functional requirements, test plans and/or executed test scripts as needed within Stryker’s project process. Transitioning of completed projects to support team.

Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)

  • Design, develop and deliver written requirements, functional requirements, test plans and/or executed test scripts as needed within Stryker’s project process for multiple sites.

  • Manage solution deployment/enhancement schedules and milestones throughout initiatives across all application development and support teams.

  • Manage solution deployment/enhancement to Stryker standards. Ensure appropriate resources are available and communicate deployment status as necessary.

  • Provide support to business recourse in a timely and efficient manner during the UAT and Hyper Care sessions. As a leader to support, train other team members if they are facing any issues in the periods.

  • Investigate, implement, and maintain advanced system monitoring tools to ensure the identified defects of SIT/UAT are fixed.

  • Develop and manage contracts with service providers to meet KPI and agreed targets, take into account of information security of third parties.

  • Lead the managed services team for development services, and as escalation point of the team.

  • Ensure smooth build to run transition of completed projects.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science or Information Systems required

  • PMP certification preferred.

  • ITIL certification preferred

Qualifications & experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in application administration, development, or DevOps.

  • 5+ years of experience in MS SQL server database management and analytics.

  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, actionable plans.

  • Experience of working with business stakeholders is required.

  • Experience of managing internal or external team is required.

Physical & mental requirements:

  • Good knowledge of SAP/Oracle/JDE/QAD, non-ERP related business process is required.

  • Good understanding of operational metrics, KPI, SLAs, OLAs.
