Job description
What you will do
The Associate Manager of Investor Relations supports the Investor Relations team in maintaining, developing, and improving relations and communications between the organization, financial analysts and institutional investors. You will help lead the development and execution of the annual corporate access plan, including the surveillance and targeting programs. You will work to understand movements in the investor base and identify prospective investors while monitoring the effectiveness of ongoing investor interactions. You will help to develop strategies and implement programs to keep the financial community current on company performance and industry trends.
Responsible for maintaining strong fundamental understanding of the business, strategies, and market view of Stryker to participate in and lead investor interactions.
Responsible for hosting investor meetings, independently or in conjunction with IR leader
Lead the development and execution of investor targeting and corporate access goals
Lead investor surveillance and targeting programs to understand movement in the investor base, identify prospective investors and monitor effectiveness of outreach – presenting finding to senior leaders and broader management.
Lead collaboration across Stryker to develop Investor Fact Sheet that captures the Stryker investment story
Work in conjunction with IR team and senior leaders to develop Stryker's investor story and utilize special events (e.g., AAOS, analyst meetings, site visits, bus tours, conferences, etc.) as a platform for advancing key messages
Responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Q&A database regarding all pertinent industry & commercial dynamics in partnership with IR leadership and commercial teams and present finding to senior leaders
Quantitively capture key themes and leverage findings to inform senior leaders, guide quarterly commentary and track success of communication goals
Lead development of industry market intelligence models and determine additions or changes required to inform leadership of changing market dynamics and perceptions.
What you need
Required
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience in a strategy, marketing or finance role
Preferred
MBA
Demonstrated knowledge of financial markets.
2+ years of professional experience working across multiple operational areas of business, such as sales, marketing, R&D, or operations; experience in customer interaction is advantageous.
Experience with financial modeling techniques, including methods used by security analysts to evaluate a company’s operating and financial performance and estimate stock valuation
The ideal candidate would be a commutable distance from a major Stryker location (Flower Mound, TX / Kalamazoo, MI / Mahwah, NJ / San Jose, CA) and be onsite 1-2x a week.
