Job description
As Associate manager Flex Finance Compliance you will work across the European business , you will be representing EMEA Financial compliance team for the Flex Finance processes and project team by supporting the RCM implementation, revenue recognition assessment, contract review, implementing the SOX controls for Flex into audit board, and working with different stakeholders across the finance organization, as Local Finance Teams, FP&A and Polish Finance Center
What you will do
- Be an active member of the project team involved in the Flex Finance standardization and process set up across multiple European entities
- Implement the Risk control matrix (Sox controls) in the European organization and oversee the preparation of these controls by different teams
- Own the Audit board SOX controls system for Flex Finance
- Support the Financial Compliance Controller on the accounting guidance and revenue recognition assessment for the different countries and different deal types
- Work alongside the Flex Finance Manager to ensure standardization and efficiencies across the different European entities
- Work alongside the Poland Finance center on the accounting treatment and balance sheet reconciliation standardization for Europe
- Implement approval process for future Flex Finance contracts that need to be assess for revenue recognition purposes
- Actively contribute and support the creating of process narratives and walkthroughs to ensure standardization in the European organization
- Participate in projects driving process improvements that require Flex financial compliance input
Your profile:
- +5 years’ experience in a finance function in a matrix international company (preferably US or Multinational company)
- Fluent in English
- Familiar with USGAAP, Sarbanes Oxley Act and Technical Accounting expert
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
- High level of honesty, integrity, commitment and responsibility.
- Accustomed to working under pressure and with deadlines.
- Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
