What You Will Do
As the Associate Manager, you will provide data-driven insights and solutions for the Global Transportation and Trade (GTT) function in the Global Quality Organization (GQO). You will help us improve our decision-making, process optimization, and opportunity identification.
Develop and support meaningful transportation and trade analytics which will drive business decisions through compelling visualizations, communication and storytelling
Utilize internal data from Freight Audit and Pay providers and relevant finance/business systems to develop dashboards in Power BI, and apply automated algorithms and/or statistical modeling to support the growth and scaling efforts of the GQO division
Partner with GTT team and local site finance to consistently strengthen the connection to freight and duty spend and drive increased data literacy and adoption of data-driven insights
Assist with the development and tracking of GTT actuals, budget, projection and long range financial plans
Own month end freight accruals and various P&L journal entries
Build and use data quality tools to ensure analytics are valid and accurate to maintain trust with stakeholders
Drive data integrity through accountability, process design, training, and technology.
Focus on delivering analytics solutions that promote self-service, an optimized user experience, and reduce/eliminates ad-hoc requests
Ad hoc projects depending on business needs.
Demonstrated success in developing analytical tools using Power BI, Power Apps or similar widely available tools.
What You Need
Bachelor's Degree required
6+ years of experience
The ideal candidate would be commutable distance to a major Stryker location (Kalamazoo, MI / Mahwah, NJ / Flower Mound, TX)
$85,500 - $182,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
