Job description

Be part of an exciting journey as Associate Mako Product Specialist in Malaysia, supporting one of Stryker’s most advanced orthopaedic technologies. In this role, you will work alongside surgeons and hospital teams to deliver robotic‑assisted joint replacement procedures that improve surgical precision and patient outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to build clinical expertise while making a visible impact on the growth of Mako in Malaysia.

What You Will Do

  • Complete required training and achieve certifications across Mako applications within defined timelines.
  • Provide in‑operating‑room case coverage, including scrubbing in as a clinical specialist for joint replacement procedures.
  • Support surgeons with pre‑operative planning, including CT scan planning and segmentation.
  • Deliver clinical and technical training to surgeons and hospital staff to enable safe and effective use of the Mako system.
  • Partner with sales and clinical teams to support account growth by expanding referral networks and increasing procedure volumes.
  • Coordinate operational processes such as case booking, documentation, reporting, and billing to ensure smooth case execution.
  • Participate in sales, marketing, and training activities to support adoption and utilization of Mako technology.
  • Prepare and submit accurate complaint reports in accordance with Stryker’s quality system and timelines.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related science field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales, customer service, clinical support, or technical support roles.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting medical devices in a clinical or operating room environment.
  • Experience working with surgeons, nurses, or hospital stakeholders.

Additional Information

  • Work arrangement: Field‑based role supporting hospitals across Malaysia.
  • On‑call requirement: Willingness to support cases during weekends and public holidays based on team roster.
  • Travel: Regular local travel required to support hospital accounts.
