포지션 개요

본 포지션은 혁신적인 Mako SmartRobotics를 사용하는 모든 고객을 대상으로 수술 중 현장 임상 제품 지원(On-site Clinical Product Support), 가이드 및 지원을 제공하며, 담당 병원에 대한 교육, 지속적인 In-service Training 및 고객 교육을 수행합니다.

또한 담당 지역 내 주요 병원 관계자, Opinion Leader 및 Referral Doctor와 협력하여 임상 기반을 확대하고 Referral Base를 구축함으로써 Procedure 및 Implant Volume 성장을 지원합니다.

MPS는 Mako의 임상적 장점을 경제적 가치로 연결하여 Case Volume과 Site 성장을 이끌며, 제품 성능 및 고객 만족도 향상을 위해 제품 설계 개선에 필요한 고객 피드백을 제공합니다.

주요 업무

• 수술 시 Mako Product Specialist(MPS)로서 Case Coverage를 제공합니다.
• 외과의사 및 수술실(OR) 의료진을 대상으로 회사의 Robotic Arm Application, 관련 장비 및 기구의 사용에 대한 교육과 임상·기술 지원을 제공하여 정확한 Implant Placement와 Precision을 지원합니다.
• 전용 소프트웨어를 사용하여 수술 전 CT 영상을 Mako SmartRobotics에 사용할 수 있도록 준비하고, 수술 전 Implant Planning, Implant Size 선정 및 Positioning을 지원합니다.
• Case Review, Service, Customer Complaint 및 개선 권고사항을 포함한 상세 보고서와 관련 지표를 Management, Direct Supervisor 및 Quality/Regulatory 담당자에게 제공합니다.
• 지역 내 Mako Consigned Inventory를 관리 및 운영합니다.
• Sales Order를 처리하고 Sales 및 Operations Team에 Forecast 정보를 제공합니다.
• 필요 시 Training 및 Marketing 활동을 지원하며, 잠재 고객이 Hands-on Demonstration과 제품 설명을 통해 Mako System을 직접 경험할 수 있도록 지원합니다.
• Stryker Quality System 요구사항에 따라 고객 불만(Complaint)을 신속하고 정확하게 보고합니다.
• 제품의 임상적 장점을 적극적으로 전달하고, 주요 Surgeon 및 OR Staff와 강력하고 긍정적인 관계를 구축합니다.
• 수습기간 내 MAKO 교육과정 시험을 통과하고 MPS Certification을 취득해야 합니다.

지원 자격

• 의료기기, 제약 또는 Healthcare 산업의 Sales 및/또는 Technical Role 경력 1년 이상 보유자 우대
• 영어(구두 및 문서) 커뮤니케이션 능력 및 MS Office 활용 능력
• 수술실(Operating Room) 환경에서 원활하게 업무를 수행할 수 있는 역량
• 고객 서비스 원칙 및 프로세스를 이해하고 이를 업무에 적용할 수 있는 역량
• 우수한 문제 해결 능력, 협업 역량 및 대인관계·커뮤니케이션 능력
• 주도적으로 업무를 추진하고 강한 책임감을 발휘하는 역량

Summary:

This position is responsible for providing clinical product support to all end users of our pioneering Mako SmartRobotics system, including on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures. The role also involves delivering training, ongoing in-service sessions, and customer education for assigned accounts. The Mako Product Specialist (MPS) drives continuous account growth by collaborating with key hospital staff, thought leaders, and referring physicians within the territory to develop referral networks and increase procedural and implant volumes. The MPS also supports case volume and site expansion by effectively translating the clinical benefits of MAKO into economic value for customers. In addition, the MPS gathers and provides feedback on product design and performance to support continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.

Note: This role is based in Jeolla, Interviews will be conducted at Seoul main office.

What you will do:  

• ​​​Must pass MAKO course examinations and be certified by MPS within probation period. 

• ​Provide case coverage as MPS (Mako Product Specialist) 

• ​Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of the company's robotic arm applications, associated equipment, and instruments to insure ideal placement and precision. 

• ​Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the company's Mako SmartRobotics, assist surgeon in preoperative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning. 

• ​Provide detailed reports and associated metrics to management, direct supervisor and company's Quality/Regulatory representatives as needed. Key considerations include case review, service, customer complaint, and recommendations for improvements.  

• ​Maintains and controls local Mako consigned inventory. 

• ​Processes sales orders and provides forecast input to sales and operations teams. 

• ​Support training and marketing activities as needed. Provide potential customers with opportunity to experience the Mako system through hands on demonstration and explanations. 

• ​Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per the requirements of Stryker’s quality system. 

• ​Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products, and build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts. 

What you need:

• ​​ Preferably a minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales and/or technical role within the medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
• Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders; proficient in using computers and MS Office tools
• Knowledge of the operating room environment is required
• Strong understanding of customer service principles and processes
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident and able to take ownership and lead when required
• Ability to interpret and analyse written specifications, and support customers in selecting products that meet those requirements
• Highly detail-oriented
