Job description
What you will do:
Build, manage, and develop an accounting team, set annual objectives, and complete annual reviews.
Calculate, reconcile, and analyze Inventory and Inventory reserves during period close to ensure accuracy.
Prepare complex month-end journal entries, review and approve those prepared by team members.
Ensure ERP-generated inventory reports are accurate and support ERP configuration, testing, and deployment.
Prepare complex reconciliations, review and approve team reconciliations per Stryker policies.
Support external and internal audits, complete audit requests timely, and address findings with action plans.
Keep all process documentation and narratives updated, and ensure all internal controls and other compliance requirements are successfully met.
Partner with the Senior Manager and supply planning team to enhance communication, forecast accuracy, inventory reduction, and implement reporting requirements or inventory-related projects.
What you need:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business-Related Field
6+ years’ experience in inventory, or Accounting.
Experience in audit process
Proficiency with Excel and SAP
Fluency in English (85%)
Strong ability to coordinate action across a dispersed workforce and highly matrixed organization
Preferred
Experience researching and applying GAAP
Proficiency with JDE and Oracle
Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately and efficiently
