Job description

Work Flexibility: Field-based

Service Area: Victoria, BC

Shift: Monday – Friday, varying hours dependent upon customer needs

Travel percentage: 50%

Summary:

The Associate Field Service Representative conducts analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. In this role, you will troubleshoot problems and issues, determine technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Additionally, you will assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications and act as local on-site representative to the customer's organization

What You Will Do:

  • Provide effective, proficient, and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct support of the sales team to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to account protocols.
  • Complete fault isolation and maintenance of equipment at account locations.
  • Promote Stryker’s business by recognizing opportunities to fulfill additional customer needs and communicating with the appropriate Stryker personnel for follow up.
  • Provide post sale in-servicing on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Perform warranty, upgrades, field actions, preventative maintenance, installations, deliveries billable or any other related services required by a client.
  • Follow all administrative duties in a very accurate and timely manner, assist in the development of new service procedures, provide new product information to customers.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of Stryker equipment and parts.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to any other Province or Territory within Canada for Field Service calls, or customer training or daily backfill of other technical duties.

What You Need:

Required:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in process (Technical School in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license and outstanding driving record

Preferred:

  • University Degree
  • Background from a Technical School in Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical Background

Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered.
