Job description

Summary:

As an Associate Field Service Representative, you'll play a key role in supporting Stryker's advanced robotic technology by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing robotic medical systems that help improve patient care. Working independently with guidance as needed, you'll provide both remote and on-site technical support, becoming a trusted partner to hospital customers and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance. This is a field-based position based in the Boise, ID area, with up to 50% travel throughout Idaho and neighboring states to hospitals and surgery centers.

What You Will Do:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced Stryker robotic systems and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site while performing preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Executives, and cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and support business growth opportunities.
  • Manage field inventory, tools, test equipment, and service documentation to maintain operational readiness.
  • Independently schedule and complete service calls, preventive maintenance, engineering changes, and equipment updates.
  • Train customers on system operation, software updates, and best practices to maximize equipment performance and user confidence.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer sites, assist teammates, and provide technical support at meetings and events.  

What You Need:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering
  • Previous experience as a technical field service professional or in a relevant capacity

$28.01 - $38.75 USD Hourly
