Job description

As an Associate Field Service Engineer, you'll support hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions, servicing and maintaining medical technology that healthcare professionals rely on every day.

This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a global leader in healthcare technology. You'll work directly with customers and play a critical role in ensuring equipment is available when it's needed most.

One day you could be troubleshooting an urgent issue in a hospital, the next performing preventative maintenance, installing equipment, training customers, or supporting new technology launches.

You may be an engineer, qualified tradesperson, Defence veteran, technician, mechanic, fitter, or someone who has built a career maintaining, repairing or supporting technical equipment.

More important than your background is your technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. We want someone who enjoys getting hands-on, solving technical challenges, and helping customers succeed.

Required Experience

  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, servicing or maintaining technical equipment, machinery or systems
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience diagnosing faults and identifying practical solutions
  • Confidence using tools, equipment and technology
  • Current driver's licence

Why Join Stryker?

  • Support hospitals and healthcare providers across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions
  • Work with innovative medical technology that helps improve patient outcomes
  • Learn from one of Stryker's most experienced service teams
  • Enjoy autonomy, variety and customer interaction every day
  • Ongoing technical training, development and career progression opportunities
  • Fully maintained company vehicle provided
  • Generous parental leave benefits for all parents
  • Additional wellbeing days to support your health and wellbeing
  • Volunteer leave so you can give back to causes that matter to you
  • Be part of a company committed to making healthcare better

If you're technically minded, enjoy solving problems and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
