Job description

We are seeking a curious, motivated, and improvement-minded Compliance Analyst to support essential IT compliance programs while helping us rethink how work gets done. This role combines hands-on responsibilities in document control, training compliance, audit readiness, and nonconformance/corrective and preventive action (NC/CAPA) processes with opportunities to explore AI, automation, and practical process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings initiative, creativity, strong follow-through, and an eagerness to learn. Extensive compliance experience is not required; the ability to learn new systems, ask thoughtful questions, collaborate with others, and turn ideas into useful solutions is especially valuable. The analyst will work with experienced team members to understand compliance requirements and apply technology responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation, AI & Process Improvement

  • Identify repetitive tasks, workflow bottlenecks, and opportunities to simplify compliance activities.
  • Explore and test approved AI and automation tools to improve documentation, training administration, reporting, knowledge access, and data analysis.
  • Develop prototypes and implement scoped improvements with guidance from process owners and technical partners.
  • Evaluate results, document solutions, and help colleagues adopt more effective ways of working.
  • Apply appropriate controls for confidentiality, accuracy, human review, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Document Control & Quality Systems

  • Coordinate controlled document creation, revision, review, approval, publication, and archival in enterprise systems (Windchill PLM).
  • Work with document owners to maintain accurate records and alignment with internal procedures and applicable standards.
  • Help troubleshoot workflows and improve document control efficiency and usability.

Training Compliance

  • Support learning management system assignments, training records, completion tracking, and periodic reviews (ComplianceWire LMS).
  • Prepare and analyze compliance metrics; identify opportunities to improve training workflows and reporting.

NC/CAPA & Audit Support

  • Assist with intake, documentation, tracking, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks for NC/CAPA records (Trackwise).
  • Collect audit evidence, coordinate responses, track follow-up actions, and support ongoing audit readiness.
  • Analyze trends, escalate potential compliance risks, and recommend practical improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, learning agility, and ownership of assignments, shown through work, internships, academic projects, or independent initiatives.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Interest in AI, automation, technology, and continuous improvement, with willingness to learn new tools and systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and balance creative ideas with accuracy, confidentiality, and established requirements.

Preferred

  • Exposure to compliance, quality management, IT operations, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with document management, learning management, or quality management systems.
  • Experience with generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power BI, or similar tools through professional, academic, or personal projects.
  • Awareness of ISO standards, NIST frameworks, audit processes, or NC/CAPA concepts.
