Job description
What you will do:
This role is responsible for managing core accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
Perform Account Reconciliation for assigned entities.
Investigate and resolve unsupported balances.
- Provide support to the business by preparing journal entry calculations and supplying journal and reconciliation backup documentation upon request.
Escalate any unusual activity or aged items to management which enables a proactive response to potential risks and related losses.
Financial Statement analysis.
Perform month end closing process and any request as necessary
Comply with Corporate accounting policies, US and local GAAP.
Performs other related work to accounting cycle.
What you need:
Required
Technical Degree or advanced university student in Accounting, Business, or a related field
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts)
Fluent spoken and written English (B2 level)
2–3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role within a matrixed international company, preferably an American or multinational organization, with complex reporting practices and exposure to multiple reporting systems
Preferred
Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or QAD systems
Experience working in a shared service center within a large or global organization
