Key Responsibilities
As an Account Manager for our Trauma division you will sell innovative, life-changing surgical products and help improve healthcare. As a Trauma Account Manager at Stryker, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker products, including plates, screws and nails, for elective and acute Trauma surgery. Whether it’s in the operating theatre, the office or clinical meetings, you will conduct inspiring product demonstrations and support our customers by building long lasting partnerships. Using your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems, you’re always available to educate and support surgeons and theatre staff on how to properly use and maintain these life-changing products.
What to expect:
Drive territory growth through proactive, continuous customer engagement and targeted sales strategies.
Plan and execute quarterly and annual business plans to manage existing revenue and drive new customer acquisition.
Manage resources and demo materials in the territory to ensure effective product representation.
Provide high-quality customer care to physicians, surgical staff, and hospital administration for sales-oriented consultations.
Achieve sales and margin targets while maintaining compliance with internal guidelines.
Represent Stryker at all levels, supporting relationships with healthcare providers, commissioners, and managers.
Offer in-theatre support and enhance customer experience through exhibits, trade shows, and educational labs.
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies, upholding ethical standards and maintaining industry knowledge.
Pro-active and flexible in agenda management.
What are we looking for?
Degree in Engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing or related experience in a medical, scientific field or technical career;
Previous experience in the Medical Devices industry is desirable;
0-5 years of experience in a Commercial role, ideally in the Medical devices sector;
You are highly flexible to travel within your territory (80% travel).
You hold strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
A strong customer interaction experience is important for you as you place the customer at the heart of everything you do.
Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations preferred.
Territory: West and Mid Netherlands
Based location: Any main city of the region, including Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag, Rotterdam
Travel percentage: 80%
Operating room required: 30-40%
