What you will do-

  • Using data and other inputs, identify, prioritize, and deliver on business and customer needs.
  • Oversee all shipping and receiving activities and team members.  
  • Responsible for ensuring continuous product flow throughout the inbound and outbound process to ensure product availability.
  • Accountable to meeting and/or exceeding business objectives including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, customer experience, people development and cost.
  • Allocate and lead resources in area based on repair needs and standards.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and remove road blocks to ensure same day shipping and receiving turnaround.
  • Ability to manage technical aspects of the business and utilize the necessary resources to address and resolve issues through problem solving.
  • Identify and may lead cost reduction initiatives to deliver on financial projections.
  • Must be able to collect various metrics and compile to forecast and identify business needs.
  • Responsible for managing cost performance for the unit/team supported. 
  • Attend daily MDI meetings and communicate business results /metrics clearly at all levels of the operations business.
  • Oversees execution and coaching of MDI process up through Tier 2.
  • Fill in for Supply Chain Manager as needed, to include MDI Tier 3
  • Monitor key ERP process flows to ensure product doesn’t get stuck within the system.  
  • Evaluate employee performance through various means, such as talent reviews and common annual reviews.
  • Work collaboratively to develop and drive accountability for meaningful performance objectives.
  • Provide developmental coaching and guidance to team in the areas of performance management, communication, and adhering to company polices.
  • Responsible for the recruitment and hiring of talent.
  • May forecast and predict recruitment needs of temporary and permanent talent to the team for conversion.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the support of business and process improvements including but not limited to 6S, lean manufacturing initiatives, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with established regulatory, quality, legal, corporate, and human resources policies and procedures.

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of proven leadership experience highly preferred
  • Excellent organization, planning, communication, project management and performance attainment in manufacturing or logistics environment preferred
  • Previous Supply Chain experience preferred
  • SAP and Excel experience, a plus
