What you will DO:

You will work as a design engineer for the Product/Sustaining Engineering team. The role will involve troubleshooting and implementing design modifications to existing products.  The role will include some amount of project management.  

What you NEED:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Working knowledge of 3D modelling software.
  • Versatility, flexibility, ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills; ability to describe issues, plans and objectives.

Preferred technical competencies and experience:

  • Medical device design experience or experience in another regulated industry
  • Experience with design of plastic components
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical devices/mechanisms
  • 2+ years related engineering experience
  • Project management/project lead experience
  • Experience using PRO-E software or similar
