  • Provides technical support to engineers and scientists on a variety of technical tasks. Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation. Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective action. Responsibilities are within the Technical Specialty/Skilled Trade Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines.

  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze schematics and circuit boards.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuit elements and circuit test methods.
  • Experienced with CAD based electrical schematics and printed circuit board layouts
  • Able to calculate tolerance stack ups for components and systems.
  • Advanced soldering skills required, IPC certification for soldering preferred.
  • Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), small power tools and common test/inspection equipment.
  • Prefer previous advanced Engineering Technician experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment 
  • Able to work independently and diagnose/resolve problems while designing.Ability to effectively review, understand and convey technical information.
  • Ability to follow and adhere to quality standards, product specifications and all safety standards.
