What you will do

As a Project Manager, CQR at Stryker, you will be responsible for all aspects of the project from initiation to completion while interfacing with all stakeholders affected by the project, including end users.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate frequently across all project disciplines to ensure both team and senior management are aware of upcoming milestones and risks/issues
  • Conduct regular meetings with project teams to resolve issues and risks, maintain engagement/focus and share updates with all team members
  • Create and maintain program/project documentation (e.g. charter, roadmap/pipeline, risks and opportunities, lessons learned, etc.) to meet business goals and program objectives
  • Maintain timelines with regular updates to re-project milestones, monitor critical path, and calculate launch dates while maintaining baseline data
  • Coordinate with project leaders to foresee/understand critical project activities and to enable them to manage team resources and tasks to avoid critical path slippage
  • Partner with project team members to maintain engagement and focus on project commitments and dependencies
  • Create, maintain, and utilize project templates for various types of Quality/Regulatory projects
  • Track and forecast project performance with respect to timeline and budget
  • Develop and maintain project status tracking and reporting tools
  • Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, training, mentoring and motivating to facilitate cooperation, ensure efficiency, and boost morale

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or technical focus preferred
  • 3-5+ years practical program leadership or project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to independently initiate work and assume responsibility for work that spans functional departments
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft applications including MS Project and Visio
  • Demonstrated organizational and strong written and verbal skills

  • PMP certification
