What you will do-

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Analyst will be responsible for assimilating data to identify trends for Demand, Supply and IBP leadership to analyze. This individual will be key in identifying significant business risks and escalating to the appropriate leadership teams.

The IBP Analyst is the liaison between Demand Planning, the Commercial Division, Supply Planning and Operations teams. This individual will be an integral part of Stryker’s Integrated Business Planning process by providing data that helps drive better cost control and high service levels for internal and external customers globally and presenting that information to all levels at weekly and monthly meetings.

This individual will also be responsible for the calculation and communication of the weekly shipment projections for the Trauma and Extremities division. Other responsibilities include consolidation and communication of global net requirement plans, allocation of inventory and capacity in supply shortage situations, support of weekly demand and supply execution process, and ad hoc requests from key business partners.

Specific responsibilities of the IBP Analyst include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Works with Demand Planners to provide net requirement plans to Supply Planning and Operations, and communicate changes as needed
  • Creates, updates and maintains internal Power BI reporting used by leadership at various levels showing KPIs, trending and consumption.
  • Involved in the demand planning process by attending or leading monthly Demand Review and Regional Requirement Meetings
  • Monitor lead times and proactively meet with the scheduling and operations leadership team in order to ensure consistently high levels of customer experience
  • Generate recommendations to the appropriate leadership team to ensure that lead times are within goal range and shipment targets are met
  • Work with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) and other cross-functional groups to prepare charts for IBP meetings; coordinates and leads periodic meetings, resolves issues and follows up on actions arising from meetings such as weekly demand and supply reviews
  • Prepares and presents weekly revenue projections, accountable to revenue projection accuracy goals by each business unit
  • Monitors gaps between demand, supply, and financial plans and involves necessary parties to ensure resolution and awareness
  • Assists Customer Service with meeting customer requests via the expedite and escalation process
  • Partners with finance and accounting teams during projection and budget setting activities
     

What you need-
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required for this role. A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or similar preferred. APICS certification is preferred, as are Lean Manufacturing Training and Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools, training and/or certification experience.

It is also preferred that candidates possess experience in one of the following disciplines: Supply Chain Planning, Demand Management/Forecasting, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Inventory Management.

Ideal candidates will also possess the following skills/experience:

  • Must have knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues
  • Hands on work experience with manufacturing, marketing, sales, planning, and ERP computer systems are preferred
  • Strong experience using MS Excel to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data is highly preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g.: PowerBI) is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability for sound decision making while working under pressure in critical situations
  • Demonstrated results orientation, multi-tasking skills and the ability to learn quickly and work well independently
  • Excellent communication, presentation, partnership and influence skills and ability to communicate well to all levels within the organization
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong sense of team work and customer service orientation
