What we need

The key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead and coordinate Executive Demand Reviews for NOLA
  • Generate plans and requirement plans and submit them to the IBP Managers or a Regional Demand Planner
  • Ensure implementation plans and supported requested by IBP´s from different plants at global level
  • Be the point of contact for the Global Demand Planning, Regional Executive Demand Reviews, IBP and Regional Demand Planning meetings
  • Push-back and audit monthly plans / forecasts presented by functional areas
  • Lead, support and implement different PLCM-related initiatives
  • Leading the changes, actualizations and implementation of ERP systems and global tools for NOLA region.
  • Serve as the primary contact on forecasting questions and issues to Marketing, Sales, Finance, IBP, and Global Operations business partners
  • Manage the Demand Planning processes, including system and business process quality reviews and development. 
  • Coordinate the modification and improvement of procedures, policies and processes within the global demand planning organization
  • Successfully integrate Demand Planning within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
  • Ensure monthly KPI’s are maintained and updated and reported through the appropriate communication channels
  • Escalate backorders and regulatory issues with manufacturing plants when there is an impact on demand or supply of products
  • Accountable for Data Management maintenance in the local ERP (QAD, Oracle or SAP)
  • Promote the weekly communication between Purchases and Customer Service to guarantee the shipments of the products in the times and quantities requested by the business
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Regulatory the launches dates and forecast demand
  • Define the quantities requested with Commercial Area in advance in order to comply with the projected tenders for NOLA countries.
  • Support RAQA and Finance and the Imports’ team to comply with all Customs requirements

Administrative

To plan the work, on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis according to the guidelines of the Company To generate on a timely fashion all the reports required by the operation management To make the trip expense report no later than 30 days To plan vacations in a timely manner To use the work tools according to the policies and guidelines of the company

Occupational  health

To procure integral health care To provide clear, true and complete information on his/her health condition To comply with the rules, regulations and instructions provided by the health and safety management while working in the company To report in a timely fashion to Stryker existing dangers and risks at the work site To participate win training activitires of the Health and safety management system at work (SGSST) To participate and contribute to the compliance of the health and safety management system (SGSST)

What you will need

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.  MBA is preferred
  • Must have general knowledge of business forecasting processes in Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Field Sales organizations
  • Knowledge or prior experience with forecasting/demand planning software, Oracle Demantra strongly preferred
  • APICS/IBF or other professional certification in Supply Chain or Demand Planning concepts is preferred
  • Must have understanding of end to end supply chain interactions and interdependencies
  • General knowledge of the medical device industry is a plus
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is a must
  • Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization
  • At least 5 years of business experience in Supply Chain management or related fields such as Demand Planning/Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning or Marketing
  • Prior experience with new product introductions, sales analytics, process improvements, product/demand planning, and ERP systems
  • A proven track record of strong people management skills, building talented teams and driving engagement
  • Strong negotiation & influencing skills with demonstrated strength in interdependent partnering and team management
  • Ability to drive results through a global matrix structure
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with prior experience presenting to senior level executives
  • Ability for decision making, to work under time pressure, accuracy, prioritization and capacity to make good judgment on special situations
