Job Description: This individual will manage the Soft Goods portfolio, a long term growth engine for the Acute Care business. This individual will evaluate customer needs to build this business through new product development, partnerships, and M&A activity.

  • Serves as product segment expert with regard to customer needs and expectations through active involvement in the VOC and CPT processes and provides direction to design teams to ensure products meet and exceed expectations.
  • Expertise in customer validation and clinical support.
  • Provides direction and leadership in product development, distribution and pricing guidelines.
  • Responsible for taking a leadership role in project management to include: discovery, new product development, and launch plan.
  • Responsible for the development of strategic planning to include: evaluation of market trends and potential; orders, margin, and unit forecasting; competitive assessment; and gap analysis. 
  • Collects, analyzes and maintains competitive information including product literature and pricing and communicates information as appropriate within the organization. 
  • Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions.
  • Works in support of development teams to evaluate and provide support in the areas of design processes and new product development process.
  • Researches and monitors product segment and industry trends, as well as provides input with regard to competitive strategies.
  • Provide a medium term (3 years) product and technology vision and strategy.

​Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required; preference in Marketing, Engineering, Finance or related field.
  • Master’s Degree/MBA/RN, preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with BU level impact and influence on projects of mid-to large size and moderate financial impact.
  • Significant industry/customer knowledge.          
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills applied across organization.
  • Eagerness to assist internal and external customers.
  • Possess attention to detail.
  • Travel approximately 25-40%, both domestic and global
