 Your key Responsibilities 

The Associate Manager Accounting to Reporting is in charge of leading a team of 5 to 7 employees, taking care of the different manufacturing plants located in Germany. The Associate Manager is a true relationship builder, with a hands-on mentality and the willingness to do overall accounting work. Based at our European Financial Shared Service Center you will report to the Sr. Manager Accounting to Reporting.

  • Inspire, develop and lead your team to the excellence
  • Correct and timely completion of statutory reporting
  • Prepare the annual accounts and manage the year end audit cycle
  • Assist in complying with the timely submission of monthly US GAAP reporting requirements
  • Review and verify the balance sheet reconciliations performed by your team
  • Implement improvements in terms of accuracy, clarity and process standardization
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum Bachelor/HBO in Accounting or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an accounting or audit role
  • Familiar with US-GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley Act
  • Ability to establish and communicate priorities and organize resources to achieve objectives
  • People management experience is mandatory
  • Communication, able to effectively communicate on all levels within the organization
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
  • Intermediate German or another European language is a strong asset for this position
