  • You will set up, debug, and maintain complex test systems; coordinate feature integration with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems teams.
  • You will conduct prototyping, bench testing, and engineering studies to assess performance, reliability, and usability.
  • You will apply statistical methods (e.g., MSA, DOE, capability) using Minitab or similar; qualify measurement systems for accuracy, precision, and stability.
  • You will document defects with clear reproduction steps; track and verify fixes to closure in designated defect tools.
  • You will ensure compliance with design controls, change control, risk management, and applicable standards within the QMS.
  • You will create and continuously improve System Test processes, tools, and templates to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • You will exercise sound judgment and autonomy in problem-solving, prioritization, and test execution across multidisciplinary systems.

What You Need (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or other related discipline.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong technical writing for protocols, reports, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of verification/validation, design controls, risk management, and change control in regulated product development (medical device experience a plus).
  • Proficiency with test fixture/design tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and test automation/analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
  • Experience with statistical methods and tools (e.g., Minitab) including MSA, DOE, and capability analysis.
  • Hands-on system/bench testing, complex test setup/debug, and defect tracking to closure.
  • Demonstrated initiative, independence, attention to detail, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems teams.
