Territory Sales Manager Patient Resuscitation & Treatment - South West & South Wales

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented, highly motivated sales professional who will be responsible for driving Stryker’s world leading defibrillator, mechanical CPR and targeted temperature management business.

You will be working as part of a high calibre, performance driven sales team, who share a strong belief in helping our customers improve patient care through the use of our products and services.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing an effective territory sales strategy to maintain existing business, as well as identifying and developing new sales opportunities
  • Delivering annual sales target as well as other key performance objectives
  • Building strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS or private medical sector; these include Resuscitation Specialists, Biomedical Engineers, Nursing staff as well as Procurement and Finance professionals
  • Conducting product demonstrations and training for clinical staff
  • Reporting on your sales activities on a regular basis
  • Attending and participating in key professional congresses and events
  • Maintaining and acquiring new product, technology, market knowledge


  • Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration or Biology or another relevant, advanced degree
  • Proven track record of success in sales within the NHS (desired) or in other industries
  • Experience in customer acquisition and shows the ability to seek new business
  • Knowledge and experience in a commercial sales background, preferably capital sales
  • Relationship building skills, has to be a natural relationship builder
  • Knowledge of a CRM system
  • Computer skills, MS Office
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Presentation skills with modern presentation media
  • Knowledge of Cardiac Resuscitation (desirable)
  • Must live within the defined territory, this is a field-based sales role, therefore involves a significant amount of travel
