The Senior Financial Analyst for Business Development will analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and business development decisions. Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and build financial models so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets. Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives. Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position. Data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.  

Responsibilities:

• Research and translate current market dynamics into business case financial models. 
• Partner with marketing teams to build robust assumption based financial models from the ground up. 
• Analyze and benchmark current and past product performance against financial model projections. 
• Construct and present financial rationale for executive approval. 
• Lead onsite financial due diligence assessments of target companies. 
• Monitor and report deal metrics to executives. 
• Manage and communicate Business Development teams’ budget and projections

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

• 2 years or more work experience in a finance or accounting role.
