The role of the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is to source, recruit, screen, interview and recommend external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including entry level, experienced professional/technical, IT, support staff and hourly, and possibly management. May utilize the services of employment agencies. Places employment ads in appropriate sources, including the Internet and print media. Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process, including EEO statistics. May recruit from colleges, technical schools and job fairs.

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent.   The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information.

This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 or more years experience.

  • As a truly collaborative partner, you will own the recruitment process and advise on best practice to ensure we are continuously delivering excellent customer service
  • You will define the best candidate attraction and sourcing strategies by utilizing your strength and passion for direct sourcing, leveraging your network for talent referrals to attract and hire potential top talent as well as to generate wide and diverse candidate pools.
  • Partnering with the business is key to success as the Talent Acquisition Partner.  You will anticipate the needs of your business, and you will have such a deep understanding of the market place that you can come up with the best in class solutions. 
  • You will be instrumental in executing the global talent acquisition You will interview/screen candidates and deliver a compelling and consistent message to candidates that aligns with the Stryker brand and values to create a positive candidate experience.
