Stryker is looking for a dynamic, high potential leader to lead our ProCare Services marketing strategy and vision across the entire portfolio of Medical products and services. Essential Functions:

  • Provides leadership and direction in market segment development, sales promotion, distribution and pricing guidelines that meet or exceed objectives.
  • Provides support of International ProCare and Cross-Divisional Marketing and Sales Support.
  • Responsible for supporting service contract, service parts, and billable labor and travel sales.
  • Responsible for driving customer margin improvement by through pricing, discounting and efficiency.
  • Responsible for building collaborative relationships with capital business unit marketing and sales leaders in order to enhance capital product and service experiences at targeted margins.
  • Responsible for development and improvement of service sales and marketing metrics: Attachment rate, Renewal Rate, Sales Engagement in ProCare, Market Share by product and total.
  • Responsible for engaging the sales force and ProCare team in selling service products.
  • Responsible for developing and supporting new service/product initiatives for future growth.
  • Timely and accurate project completion as needed or when assigned by Senior Director of Field Service.
  • Orders forecasting on a monthly basis for use in planning, manufacturing and inventory management.
  • Collects, analyzes and maintains competitive information including product literature and pricing and communicates information as appropriate within the organization.
  • Focus on continuous product improvement with regard to service/product quality and functionality. The goal is “best in class” products in all market segment(s).
  • Drives corrective action where necessary. Provide unparalleled sales support by answering questions and/or resolving account manager and customer questions.
  • Provides sales/service force with competitive and technical data on a timely basis. Participates in and develops service sales training and programs.
  • Participates in customer and sales visits as the resident product/market expert. Prudent management of budgeted expenses.
  • Maintains files, which are organized, updated, relevant, and easy to access. Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions.
  • May have responsibility for personnel management including scheduling, providing technical assistance, and employee development which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures.
  • Employee engagement: Responsible and accountable for actions promoting an environment that fosters personal growth and development.
  • May be assigned projects that will enhance Field Service support to Field Service personnel, Customers and or Sales personnel. Customer satisfaction:  Perform with honesty and integrity instituting a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service.  Promote an environment emphasizing teamwork, empowerment, and problem resolution with a consultative approach. 


  • 5+ years in related marketing, service/sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing or related discipline.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong results orientation.

travel requirement

  • Up to 50% annually (working with customers, service personnel, account managers, and national accounts).

Work From Home: Occasional

Travel Percentage: 50%
