Job Description: Responsible for providing direction and vision to Emergency Care Marcomm team members, working closely with business stakeholders in the development of new materials, sales tools and communications materials to enhance the Emergency Care brand and drive business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all marketing communication efforts for all product markets, as well as for all internal departments.
  • Partner with Global Brand and Portfolio Marketing teams to develop and execute the Annual Marketing Plan and Commercialization plans for new product launches.
  • Manage all internal/external communication projects within budgetary, consistency, quality and regulatory guidelines. Represent Stryker Medical on corporate communications projects.
  • Help develop mobile applications, website content, and social media tools and strategy. 
  • Maintain sales support communication collateral inventory and fulfillment process.
  • Drive the development of marketing/sales materials, including press releases, direct mailers, advertisements, launch tool-kits, in-service videos, , on-hold messages, website, intranet site, PowerPoint presentations and continuing education programs.
  • Maintain integrity of corporate brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the management of the national trade show program.
  • Help establish and adhere to budgets on a per project and departmental basis.
  • Coordinate and develop marketing communications tools, assisting with trade shows, literature, advertising, website, social media, video, presentations and publicity.  This may include, but is not limited to: guiding projects through internal review and approval, working with external vendors, reviewing projects, copy writing, proof reading, designing literature and monitoring the budget.
  • Partner with various business leaders to develop and implement the marketing, communications and messaging strategy.
  • Management and maintenance of all media and project files used in the development of marketing tools: trade show files, journals, vendor files, video, graphics, artwork, digital assets, confidentiality agreements and release forms.
  • Assist/monitor the development and maintenance of Stryker Medical web initiatives (website and intranet).  Work with IT to add new products, update marketing information and keep templates/forms current.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, public relations or related discipline required, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of marketing experience (or combination of marketing and sales) required
  • 2+ years of management experience required
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Familiarity with word processing and graphics layout programs (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MovieMaker, etc.) highly preferred.
  • Understanding of web and social media platforms.
  • Essential to participate in, and become knowledgeable of, all aspects of the company.
