Job Description:

Great opportunity to join the Joint Replacement Division Indirect Procurement team!  We are looking for someone who is able to seamlessly navigate between market trends and the needs of our industry leading business, provide insight through analysis and procurement process discipline, to identify the best vendor partnerships to support our business needs.  The analyst will possess a process orientation, attention to detail, and strong analytic and communication skills.  This role provides a unique opportunity to work within the Joint Replacement Division and have exposure across all areas of the business.  This role offers a great opportunity to join a highly engaged team focused on analytics and cost transformation that enables strategic business decisions and improved business management. 

What you Need

Experience: 2-5 year’s as a sourcing analyst managing purchasing categories or general strategic sourcing support partner for business operations

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related, Finance. MBA preferred.

Knowledge of legal contract terms and SOW development experience

Comfortable negotiating discounts and arbitrating poor supplier performance remediation


  • Support the divisional IP sourcing process for contract values that range from $50K- $10M.
  • Drive compliance with divisional Indirect sourcing Strategy Support the divisional IP sourcing process
  • Assist business partners with sourcing strategy development including type of event, vendor identification, category benchmarking.
  • Coordinate the RFx process and proposal review team activities to make final vendor partner recommendations utilizing jointly developed scorecards and risk assessments.
  • Liaison with business, other divisions, and legal for contract development including: SOW development, negotiated savings, Master agreement legal terms, document execution requirements and archiving
  • Assist with implementation, kickoff and stabilization of vendor operations and initial invoicing.
  • Participate in vendor quarterly business reviews.
  • Support Indirect procurement reporting requirements
    • RFx Scorecard development and recommendation summary
    • Power BI /Reporting of Unmanaged spend for internal business partners
    • Develop innovative spend analytics from Power BI and vendor usage data
    • Monthly Division Cost Transformation project reporting
    • Monthly IP – Global Team Updates
    • Quarterly IP update reporting to Sr Leadership
  • Manage Connect IP page to ensure timely updates to and communication of changes for sourcing process and buying instructions.
  • Liaison with Global Indirect Procurement team including Enterprise COE collaboration and Cross divisional leverage opportunities.
  • Support readiness activities for technology and system implementations:
    • Coupa procurement system
    • Contract Lifecycle Management
