Job Description: The Sales Training Manager is responsible for building comprehensive training curriculum to develop clinical expertise, clinical selling skills, C-Suite selling, customer influence, and cross-divisional strategy for new hires and experienced sales reps.

Additional Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for in-house and field product sales training curriculum and all continuing education requirements
  • Coordinates all training phases, events, education materials, videos & other resources
  • Develop and lead training programs while coordinating involvement from sales, sales leadership, marketing, customer care and Instruments training department
  • Develop “Train the Trainer” program and expectations for sales representatives
  • Create and manage onboarding program for new sales representatives, internal employees and managers
  • Responsible for mentoring and ongoing training of employees
  • Perform ride-alongs with sales representatives to assist in education, as well as provide developmental feedback
  • Implement technology in the training process that would provide training access 24/7
  • Manages all training budgets
  • Works closely with Marketing Managers to develop key relationships with necessary consultants and recommend appropriate HCP’s in accordance with key objectives
  • Utilizes training best practices from other divisions
  • Contributes supplementary educational resources for trainees
  • Responsible for needs analysis and continuous evaluation of all training programs
  • Will assist in coordination of mid-year and national sales meeting including regional team building programs and sales concepts and motivational training
  • May eventually be responsible for the supervision and development of other training employees

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years related sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Must have extensive field sales training experience
  • Must be able to explain the use of all products.
  • Must have interdepartmental knowledge (marketing, manufacturing, customer service, etc.)
