The Joint Replacement Revision Specialist will be primarily responsible for working with sales representatives within the team to remove the barriers to them winning revision hip and knee business. This senior sales position and effective assistant management position will be suitable for driven, high performance technical sales people who are also seeking a stepping stone into a people management role.

Reporting to the regional sales manager, the revision specialist will work with the sales representatives to deliver the strategic sales objectives within the complex sector of the Joint Replacement market.  This will be accomplished by representing Stryker as a leader in our industry and the marketplace by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.

This role will be covering West Sussex, Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon & Cornwall.

As a result of building and maintaining strong business relationships and developing and implementing sales strategies, you will increase results throughout the region. The Revision Specialist is responsible for driving regional revision sales growth across the region by effectively and efficiently allocating resources against the opportunities in the marketplace.  

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • Adibility to understand and articulate the benefits of complex and wide ranging product protfolio is critical
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Regional planning, executing and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee achieving budget
  • This encompasses in particular:
  • Customer selection, targeted sales approach
  • Plan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan, this will be showing management of existing revenue streams and customers, and driving acquisition across the region generating growth.
  • Manage all resources and materials related to the revision business in the region  
  • Customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
  • Ensuring products are sold and revenue gains are established within the limits of in-house guidelines,
  • Achieving the sales and margin targets for the territory
  • Managing contracts and pricing agreements in the territory, working with Regional Manager and Product Managers to ensure this is within the desired company bands.


Education

  • Degree education preferable but not essential for exceptional candidates  


Experience

  • Successful track record within a technical sales role  
  • Experience customer acquisition, shows ability to seek new business
  • Relationship building skills, has to be a natural relationship builder
