In the role of Pricing & Tenders specialist you are responsible for the contracts and tenders. This role supports sales and marketing in the best possible way in taking commercial decisions.

You report to the Country Manager



Your responsibilities

  • Coordinates pricing, determines prices and pricing strategies for all divisions.
  • Coordinates tenders, composes documents, monitors progression and deadlines.
  • Create business proposals for new and existing key accounts in a highly evolving Belgium hospital market
  • Continuous update of pricing in Oracle invoice system.
  • Continuous update of pricing in quote system.
  • Continuous update of discounts in Oracle invoice system.
  • Production of customer-specific-pricelists at start of new contracts.
  • Production of customer-specific pricelists for Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX).
  • Looks for opportunities to grow business, whether through partnerships or new
  • initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities.
  • Analyses sales and other reports that give insight into how Stryker can make adjustments to improve performance.
  • Executes market research of Belgium Hospital Market for all divisions.
  • Coaches and helps sales force with account plans, quotes, contract matters and offers.
  • Assists sales and works as a member of a cohesive team.
  • Resolves issues with pricing, contracts and commercial operations.
  • Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects.
  • Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in the business situation.
  • Continuous update of customer delivery-conditions file.
  • Support at production of contract documents.
  • Maintenance & surveillance of contract management system.
  • Continuous focus on cost management.
  • Support at discount policy
  • Introduce FOD pricing as well reimbursement files within the NIHDI (RIZIV)




Competencies

  • Master’s degree level of working & thinking
  • Strong experience in tender management
  • Experience with business administration
  • Bilingual Dutch & French + Good level of the English language
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Oracle software
  • Good feeling for numbers
  • Customer friendly behavior
  • Understanding of medical environment
