The Marketing Product Associate manages product line initiatives including, sales support and communication, marketing collateral development, market research, competitive intelligence, technical support and marketing plan development

Responsibilities:

Management of current marketing platforms that support and enable our sales team. Collaborate with internal teammates from across the organization on product management initiatives such as cost savings initiatives and product enhancements. Support implementation of Sage interventions at the hospital level through on site education and sales rep support. Responsible for the execution of strategic planning to include: evaluation of market trends and potential; orders, margin, and unit forecasting; competitive assessment; and gap analysis. Drive product volume and rep participation within one or more product segments. Provides sales support to sales team with regard to fact finding, information gathering, assistance in proposal development, customer site visits, presentations, customer sales calls, pre-sale trials, customer questions, products questions and post-sale education and product implementation.  Helps to coordinate and develop marketing tools, assists with trade shows, literature development, presentations and publicity.  Collect, analyze and maintain an up-to-date library of competitive product information. Provide sales force with competitive and industry data through multiple communication channels on a planned and as needed basis. Execute and expand sales training curriculum around market, industry, products and competition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0-3 years experience in marketing/sales related position.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including ability to speak effectively in front of large groups of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% in US and Canada.
