Job Description: The Marketing Associate is responsible for sales support initiatives, including the development of new marketing materials, maintenance of existing materials and the overall enhancement of HCS marketing communications.  This individual will need to understand and drive the Healthcare Systems brand as well as develop creative marketing templates, ensuring consistency in materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides sales support to Corporate, National and Government Accounts teams by fielding questions, aiding in customer presentation development, gathering specific information from business unit marketing teams and maintaining price files
  • Develops and/or revamps sales support materials (i.e., internal and external customer business reviews, sales rep training materials, Elevate communication, Industry news communication, product fair kit, etc.)
  • Creative strategist with an eye towards design, Able to give design direction
  • Supports current contract launch process by creating internal and external contract announcements via inputs from Operations and field team members.  Coordinates communication of the announcements with business unit marketing teams
  • Partners with operations and CDGO teams on projects and initiatives that require marketing input
  • Maintains the Library app and aids BU field teams in pricing needs when requested
  • Supports the launch of new strategic programs and provides continuous support for sales team post-launch.  This includes onsite visits with Corporate and National Account Managers and being onsite with customers
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate information in training materials for new sales representatives and provides training at the business units as requested
  • Helps coordinate action items for mid-year and national sales meetings
  • Supports HCS team meetings (quarterly luncheons, NSM recaps, Roundtable, HCS Marketing Network, HCS Sales Council etc.)
  • Develops, administers and analyzes survey results from meetings. Produces report highlighting what went well and areas of opportunity
  • May present in person or via WebEx to support sales teams
  • Responsible for maintaining Savo and Connect sites
  • Understands Stryker brand guidelines
  • Maintains a high degree of self-motivation, generates fresh ideas and fosters positive team interaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in business, marketing or related curriculum/certification required
  • 0-2 years in a marketing role, meeting management and/or sales support-related position preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, including ability to tailor communication style to audience
  • Ideal candidate would feel comfortable making edits to established design files within InDesign. Other Adobe design application competencies a plus
  • Excellent grammar, proofreading and editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, project and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and functions
