  • Acts as business partner for the business unit, representing the finance and sales ops function.
  • Prepares and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of progress toward objectives in annual budgets, projections and strategic plans.
  • Manages and/or administers any or all of the following activities general accounting, cost accounting, internal auditing, forms control, records retention programs, and complete timely and accurate business unit financials. 
  • Partners with cross-functional business leaders to drive financial strategy to enable business strategies, goals and outcomes, including sales measurement metrics, rep/region quotas, territory alignment / expansions.
  • Consolidates, analyzes and tracks company operating budgets and exercises accounting control to ensure that expenditures so not exceed amounts budgeted.
  • Responsible for strategic level sales improvement analysis such as: maximizing over-quota performance, optimization of quota opportunity by geography, next-generation sales incentive programs           
  • Sets and manages annual budgets, projections and reporting of budgeted and actual financial results.
  • Partners with HR partner to execute the headcount strategy that supports the business unit growth strategy.
  • Own sales operations processes and be responsible for driving and implementing process improvements.  
  • Prepares and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the progress.
  • May set goals and priorities and evaluates subordinate’s performance based on those goals and priorities, if managing people.
  • Is responsible for complying with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other applicable financial laws and regulations, company policies and corrective actions

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years relevant experience required
  • Intermediate understanding of business strategy, financial strategy, financial projections, sales territory analysis, sales compensation and sales operations preferred
  • Must be strong in excel
