This position can be located in any EMEA Stryker location.

The Lead Regional Delivery Specialist leads the facilitation and deployment of learning and development programs from the Stryker core curriculum. The leader in this position is a member of the Regional Learning Delivery Team and will work closely with the Country / Geography Learning and Development Managers and HR colleagues to deliver learning and development solutions to the right learner at the right time.

Develops, implements and evaluates employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines such as management development, talent management, succession planning, technical or nontechnical training, or e-learning. Monitors employee development and training programs, assesses needs and results, develops new programs and modifies existing programs

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent.   The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own subject/technical discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 or more years experience.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Lead the facilitation and deployment of learning and development solutions from the Stryker core curriculum to the country / assigned geography.
    • Supporting the aligned regional learning and development needs by delivering, implementing, promoting and evaluating courses, programs and academies.
    • Conduct needs analysis with local leaders to determine the right learning solutions.
    • Manage course communication, enrollment, and facilitator assignments
    • Conduct / facilitate core learning and development programs across the region as needed i.e. LEAD 100, 200   
  • Partner with Talent Management Learning Design and Development team to improve Stryker’s developmental offering / roadmap, online platform and content based on stakeholder feedback
  • Consult with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders on delivery of development programs.
  • Partner with HR leaders to assess development needs, source solutions, collect feedback and evolve program offerings.
  • Provide meaningful metrics and data to demonstrate the value of programs and support ongoing enhancements.

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university required. 
  • Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is preferred.


Qualifications & experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years professional experience in the areas of human resources, organization development, training and development, and/or talent management in a team-based environment, or related business experience.
  • Experience with leadership development tools, programs, and processes.
  • Experience with program facilitation
  • Global leadership and / or US multinational experience preferred
  • Proven experience working with remote teams with a strong focus on developing trusted relationships with the business.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and building strong and influential relationships at all levels within an organization; problem solving and proactive service orientation
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to package information in clear, concise executive level ready format
  • Proven ability to drive programs, lead people through change and meet deliverables in a complex environment
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Physical & mental requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.  Generally involves sitting most of the time.
  • Must be able to operate common office equipment (e.g. computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc.).
  • Must be able to review printed and handwritten materials.
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically and with large groups of people
