    Who We Want:

    We’re looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures. You will also develop and apply engineering standards and procedures and provides advice on issues within the equipment engineering field.

    In this role...

    • You will communicate effectively with all levels of management, customers, and regulatory officials external to the company
    • You will train, mentor, and provide work direction to operators, technicians, engineers and other technical staff
    • You will conduct statistical analysis using Minitab, or equivalent, software and draw conclusions from these results to drive problem solving or validation activities.
    • You will independently assess and effectively communicate risks to quality, service level, or business continuity & propose solutions to mitigate these.
    • You will have the ability to read, understand, and create engineering drawings using Solidworks or similar computer aided design software.


    What You Need

    • Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field or equivalent  engineering experience
    • 4+ years of experience 

    And preferably any of these...

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the safety, ergonomics, and efficacy of equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
    • Ability to identify equipment, fixture, service, design and fabrication suppliers; assess supplier capability and recommend their use.
    • Ability to specify requirements and execute factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) for custom or off-the-shelf purchased equipment.
    • Ability to create equipment specifications and define requirements for the installation (IQ) and operational qualification (OQE) of equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
    • Ability to perform duties in compliance with a site quality management system that is governed by the US Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 and European MDD.
