Responsibilities: Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the budget. Manages the activities of the financial analyst staff. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Planning & Forecasting Responsibilities:

  • Manage, consolidate and analyze the financial projection & budget process and related Corporate submissions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting and ad hoc assignments as required by executive management.  Provide supervision to direct report(s).
  • Manage all aspects of the monthly projection and annual budget processes.
  • Prepare Ad-hoc financial analyses for management.
  • Manage Planning & Budgeting applications and software systems.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; prefer proficiency in Access
  • 1-3 years preferred experience leading accounting professionals
  • Prefer applied knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise or HFM and Oracle
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze financial statements/other data in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, communicate (both verbally and in writing), and present financial information 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide internal customer service
