Job description
The mission of the Payments Senior Specialist is to ensure that payments are made timely, accurately, respecting company policies and compliance.
What you will do
Process payments daily (manual, batch, payroll, taxes, cash pooling) with compliance and deadlines.
Provide proof of payments, research historical activities, and provide supporting documentation on request.
Forecast payments and monthly funding of all local bank accounts (including intercompany).
Support answers to audit queries, provide assistance and support to other teams.
Participate to project and automation development.
Investigate and solve issues relating to rejected or returned payments.
Actively participate in daily huddles and weekly team meetings.
What you need
Required:
Degree in Business and Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Accounts payable or Accounting
Fluency in English
Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley Act and/or internal control concepts.
Preferred:
Experience in payments/cash management
Familiar with USGAAP
Experience in a multinational or shared service center
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
