Job Description


Assists in the implementation and execution of the marketing and sales support program of Stryker Sports Medicine to the International Markets. Assists and supports the portfolio management group in the development and execution of new product development.

  • Will provide sales support by answering and/or resolving customer questions and/or issues on assigned products both by phone and in person.
  • May develop and/or initiate the development and production of marketing support material (e.g. product brochures, mailers, product update memos, etc.).
  • Will assist in the marketing of our products through exhibits, trade shows and educational lab execution.
  • Will travel extensively to provide marketing assessments and customer support.
  • May provide input in the new product development process.
  • Will analyze competitive position of company products and recommends or supervises product styling, quality changes, inventory allocation, and price structures.
  • Will analyze and appraise the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
  • May supervise or cooperate in market research programs
  • Will manage and/or facilitate functional input in the new product development process for assigned products
  • Will manage international product roadmap and international partner communication.
  • Will be the primary liaison between international counterparts and the domestic Sports Medicine business.

  • Must be able to generate and explain detailed forecasts, guidelines and procedures
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine product issues using independent judgment.
  • Must be able to routinely make decisions which may affect immediate product line operations and have significant business impact.
  • Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in printed word, product appearance, etc.).
  • B.B.A. or B.S. degree (emphasis in marketing or international business preferred).
  • Experience in marketing, sales, or R&D within medical, pharmaceutical, or other relevant industry preferred.
