Job Description

Basic Function
  • We are looking for a motivated, organized, collaborative individual that enjoys a fast pace environment. The goal is to oversee and direct the complete operation of the Stryker Sports Medicine lab. Provide input, preparation and on-site support for the hands-on components of the customer experience visits, run by the Clinical Education team. Assist in all facets of shipping, receiving, and packing of educational equipment.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Sports Medicine Lab.

  • Working with education team to schedule any Lab activities
  • Order cadaver specimens and ensure all tissue handling regulations are followed by personnel in the facility or by third party vendors and contractors working within the facility.
  • Maintain the equipment and instrumentation; know the operation of every piece of equipment and all instrumentation.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of disposable supplies to support scheduled activities as well as ensure proper functioning of instrumentation.
  • Ensure all required equipment, instruments and supplies are available and in good working condition.
  • Ensure all used instrumentation is cleaned and disinfected according to protocols.
  • Collaborate with education teammates to conduct educational programs are in line with Stryker’s mission.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure proper and adequate instrumentation is present for a lab, symposium, or tradeshow.
  • Ensure all instrumentation and equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, packed and shipped following the program.
  • Support the goals of the Education teams by helping to ensure accurate and timely delivery of required training kits.
  • Assist in management of on-site displays and equipment set-up and shipping at AAOS, AOSSM, NSM and other similar programs
  • Help maintain inventory and maintenance for kits and supplies stored in Denver
  • Assist in the movement of kits to/from programs per the terms of requests from the various internal customers.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred: 2+ years’ experience in operating room or surgical training laboratory setting
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience managing surgical instrumentation and operating room equipment of significant value
  • Demonstrated customer service experience interacting with sales, marketing, R&D
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with Healthcare Professional (HCP)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand surgical terminology, human anatomy, and detailed surgical techniques
  • Demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cadaver acquisition and handling and proficient up to date knowledge in state and federal regulations regarding the use, handling, transportation and disposal of cadaver tissue
