Manage best in class tradeshows & exhibitions as identified by Marketing, strengthening the Stryker brand experience with customers and new prospects for lead generation.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, manage, and execute Marketing tradeshows and cross-divisional exhibitions and events, including but not limited to:
  • Registering of events and booth space.
  • Processing payments and check requests, adhering to Compliance & RMS procedures for proper payment and documentation.
  • Develop tradeshow budgets.  Including build and management of; diligent tracking and recording of individual show budgets including processing of payments.
  • Exhibitor Prospectus research and planning.
  • Show advertising and sponsorship asset optimization; execution of paid assets with Marketing direction.
  • Design agency management & booth design development; lead creative design and communication/branding development in close partnership with Marketing & creative teams.
  • Adherence and governance of Masterbrand identity and Live Events brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and grow positive working relations with Show Services & conference Associations, including negotiations for cost efficiencies.
  • Partner with product ordering and Logistics.  Submission and management of all product orders & shipments, loan-outs, trial inventory, and labeling particular to industry and exhibition specifications.
  • Cross-divisional collaboration, identifying strategy and plan with Marketing and cross-divisional peers for combined space, message, design, and/or sponsorships.
  • Coordinate room blocks, dinner/event reservations, transportation for each show.
  • Attendee badge registration, management of frequent additions/omissions with attendance.
  • Develop detailed and thorough Pre- & Post-show Communications and Agenda.
  • Provide post-show analysis of show metrics, ROI of key booth/promotional strategies and budget to actual expense management.
  • Management and assistance with booth set-up & tear down
  • On-site show management, including working with and managing agency partner, Show Services, and/or Contractors.
  • Coordination of Lead collection and tracking, dissemination to Marketing and/or Inside Sales team for further qualification.
  • Act in the best interest of our company, representing Stryker and our values in a professional, compliant manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications or equivalent field.
  • 3+ years of experience with event, meeting, and/or tradeshow planning and execution.
  • Extremely strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to audiences of various levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or marketing automation tools, a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional peers, agency partners, and third parties – strong team player with thriving relationships.

Working Conditions:

  • Up to 50% travel (includes irregular hours & weekends)
  • Lifting/moving objects up to 50 pounds
