UAT and DITL Lead

  • Project Management: Responsible for creating, maintaining and tracking against Level 5 UAT project plan with tasks and completion dates
  • Scope:  Work with process leads to identify the scenarios that are in scope for UAT and prioritize; establish UAT exit criteria
  • Partner Systems – Super ETEs: Identify the partner systems in scope for UAT Lead; conduct planning sessions with SAP and partner systems to create multi-system end to end scenarios in HP ALM; Manage the partner system migration to HP ALM from other tools/process
  • Resources: Work with the process leads to identify UAT power user/expert for each workstream; subsequently identify list of UAT testers; Identify third parties that need to be involved in UAT
  • Communication / Meetings: 
    • Ensure effective collaboration between IT, the Business and PMO
    • Develop communication plan between UAT Manager and UAT Coordinator
    • End User Communications: such as welcome email to testers; kick-off presentations
    • Schedule and lead UAT entrance criteria meeting with leadership team (approximately 1 week prior to UAT) 
    • Attend and represent UAT on leadership meetings
    • Escalate risk to leadership when necessary
  • Execution Strategy:
    • Develop daily UAT execution schedule
    • Define metrics and reporting strategy & maintain UAT Tracker:
    • Develop scenario hand off approach between workstreams and countries
    • Develop incentive / rewards program for UAT testers
    • At end of UAT, develop UAT Testing Summary Report (leverage existing template)
  • DITL Activity 
  • Scope: work with Release Lead to Identify DITL Scope. Coordinate execution of agreed approach by Deployment.
  • Training: Collaborate with training team to ensure end users have completed their training prior to DITL   

Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study preferred or the equivalent.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8-10 years in Project Management / Testing SAP/ERP implementations
  • Business Process knowledge
  • Ability to set Strategy
  • Experience with Testing tools, such as HP ALM, HP Quality Center, a plus.
  • Working with remote team / managing resources

  • Ability to maintain strong relationships within program team.
  • Ability to understand upstream and downstream process impacts and implications
  • Strong Microsoft Office skill set
  • Detailed oriented, motivating team, communication (written/verbal)
