Job Description

If you were looking for a new challenge for 2018, here it is! We are looking for Sales Superstars with staying power.
  • Own your territory and become a product expert while providing clinical and technical expertise in the hospital setting
The role:
  • Territory Manager within our Endoscopy division in the Lower North Island area including Wellington, Palmerston North, Hastings and Hawke’s Bay.
  • This is a travelling role so where you live in the Lower North Island territory is your choice.
  • Conduct sales activities to gain sales growth and market share with existing and new customers through negotiation, customer focus and education
  • Be present in the operating theatre to assist surgeons and theatre staff to maximise the use and application of Stryker products, and provide technical expertise to registrars, nurses and other personnel as required
  • Build strong working relationships with key hospital contacts to maximise business opportunities
  • Provide added value to our customers through your product knowledge and understanding of their preferences and needs
The successful candidate will have:
  • A previous track record of exceptional performance is essential, and while it is preferred within the medical device or pharmaceutical sales industry, other industry experience will be considered.
  • You will need a love of technology and a capacity to articulate your knowledge in a way that translates with ease
  • Knowledge of the medical / hospital markets that will be complemented by your communication, negotiation and influencing skills, your commitment to quality and your passion for exceeding your customer's expectations
  • A drive to succeed combined with your love of the 'thrill of the chase'
  • Be a motivated self-starter with exceptional planning skills
  • Be happy communicating up and down organisational structures. In one day you can be teaching cleaning staff how to manage equipment and then move straight to a meeting with a hospital manager.
