Job Description

In Healthcare tenders are opportunities for suppliers/companies to submit a proposal on a specific product or service in order to become a partner regarding these products or services. As a Tender Specialist at Stryker you are part of a collaborative team that supports different internal partners within our different product groups. Your main goal is to achieve a positive outcome of tenders for Stryker through analyses, coordination, strategical planning and collaboration with internal stakeholders. Therefore, this is an analytical and communicative role that ensures a strong customer experience regarding tenders both for internal and external customers.

Your key responsibilities

  • After a thorough initial training become a strong partner for your colleagues in all questions regarding pricing, tenders and analyse inquiries.
  • Build relationship with your stakeholders to make a difference as a team in terms of tender submissions.
  • Coordinate pricing, determine prices and pricing strategies for different product groups.
  • Be dependanable in managing the preparation, submission and the outcome of tenders.
  • Be supportive for internal and external customers about inquiries regarding contracts and pricing in order to add value for our customers.
  • Actively seek ways to improve the department and the efficiency of processes through close collaboration with cross-functional Stryker Leaders.
  • Prepare margin analysis for list prices, tenders and bids.
  • Support with collection of information for business case analysis on offers and tenders.

What are we looking for

  • A detailed-oriented person that loves to work with many interfaces & stakeholders in order to add value with your supportive personality.
  • Someone who isn't afraid of working with numbers and having analytical responsibilities.
  • Ability to build trustful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Purchasing, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Business, or similar background.
  • Ideally related work experience in tender work or other relevant postion, for example, purchaser OR a strong university degree with a passion for Medical Technology.
  • Excel skills and other adequate IT Knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office).
  • Fluent spoken in Italian and ideally English.
